Art in a book

This January, I started crochet. I also wanted to try a daily art attempt to improve my artistic abilities.One small step at a time, right? I cannot draw out of imagination,  so I look at references and try to recreate it with my limited abilities. Day 4 art is from @harrison.how on Instagram. Simple ways to draw complex images. I am using this amazing brush pen from Camlin. 

I am totally feeling the sense of accomplishment after making every single piece of art. And the byproduct of this is my writing frequency has increased drastically.

So watch out for my painting series. I am unstoppable right now!

Gifts Galore

One of the benefits of taking up a new hobby is that my hubby found it easy to choose gifts for me. This year for Valentine's day, I received this amazing book and the yarn holder. I am enjoying this artform and the book is helping me learn at the right pace and make my work cleaner. Need proof?

The multicolor yarn mobile holder during week 1 of me starting the crochet journey and the red one is the one made a couple of weeks ago. I can clearly see progress in my work and it is surely getting a cleaner finish. Need more evidence?

While I am working on picking up crochet skills, I am also picking on many other art forms. You will now start to see LazyLady doing more things in the next couple of blogs.
